By downloading or using NeuroRewire (“the app”), you agree to these terms.
1. What the app is
NeuroRewire is a free self-reflection and wellness practice app. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use. All features are free; there are no paywalls.
1a. Optional tips
The app may offer optional, voluntary tips via the app store’s in-app purchase system. Tips are a gratuity: they unlock no features or content, are never required, and are non-refundable except as provided by the store’s own refund policies (Apple and Google process all payments and handle refunds under their terms).
2. Not medical services
The app does not provide therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. See the Medical Disclaimer, which is part of these terms. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services (in the US, call or text 988).
3. Your data, your device
All content you create in the app is stored only on your device. You are responsible for your device’s security (passcode, OS updates) and for any exported backup files you create. Because we hold no copy of your data, we cannot recover it if your device or backup is lost.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to the app store terms through which you obtained it. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except where the law expressly permits.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use the app in violation of any law, and don’t attempt to interfere with or misuse it.
6. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular personal outcome.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app (the app is free, so: zero) or the minimum amount permitted by law.
8. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be shown in the app; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue the app; because your data is local, discontinuation does not delete your data.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the publisher is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
